VENICE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
The International Film Festival takes place in Venice at the historic
Palace of Cinema, Lungomare Marconi, Venice Lido at the Venice Biennale,
a cultural event that also includes the famous International
Contemporary Art Exhibition.
The first Venice International Film
Festival (called the 1st International Exhibition of Cinematographic
Art) took place from 6 to 21 August 1932.
